I earned my certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from the University of California-Los Angeles and hold a BBA in Marketing with Honors from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
Before becoming a full-time independent college consultant, I spent seven years as a high school college and career guidance specialist, helping students explore careers, plan their academics, build college lists, craft applications and essays, and navigate financial aid and scholarships. I understand the rhythm and demands of the high school counseling office, as well as the diverse paths students take after graduation.
On the admissions side, I’ve met with hundreds of college admission counselors each year and served on College Admissions Advisory Boards at the University of Washington Seattle and Washington State University. I’ve run dozens of college application workshops and presented on topics ranging from holistic admissions to SAT/ACT planning to finalizing a college decision.
Before working in education, I spent the early part of my career in corporate marketing and operations management, leading teams and supporting bridge-to-career programs such as internships, college campus recruiting, and Junior Achievement. I’m always looking for ways to connect students to the world of work through awareness, education, and preparation.
I was a 2018 participant in the Washington Alliance for Better Schools (WABS) STEM Externship, hold a Career Pathways Leadership (CPL) certificate, and am certified in the Strong Interest Inventory® assessment. My passion is helping students explore, prepare, and shine as they take their next exciting steps toward college and career.
